The Jug and Glass (Queens Walk, Nether Langwith, nr. Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, NG20 9EW) (01623) 7422823. Situated on the A632, this 15th Century establishment has been newly refurbished and retains its character - real fire, disabled toilets, good access, and good bar with well stocked ales (Hardys & Hansons Bitter, Mild, Classic, and a guest beer, real ales of excellent quality). Food is served all day every day except Sunday evening (winter time,11.30-3.30pm and 6-9pm Monday-Saturday, Sunday lunch. Summer time, all day every day, except Sunday evening) and is good quality with generous portions, prices are keen too. There is a choice of restaurant or bar meals. Also, food is served in a friendly atmosphere. There is accommodation here: with good facilities and reasonable prices - rating 2. In a great location this pub is something special. (Ray Denovellis)
