Pub dates back to the 1700's and can be found on the old A6. There is a split level bar with a stone floor and a polished wood floor in the dining area. Beers served here are: Ruddles County (Greene King), Theakston Bitter, XB & Old Peculiar plus a guest. Food is served here lunch and evening and is home made. It gets busy at weekends so book if you want to eat. For the summer the garden goes down to the river but there is nowhere to moor your boat.
