MARCH.

Rose and Crown (41 St. Peter's Road, Cambridgeshire) (01354) 656705. A 150 year old pub with no juke box, no dogs and no children allowed. It's a little on the strong rule side, but it does do some good ales with over 1000 real ales so far. This is a quirky two-roomed freehouse, the only one in March. It does not do food at all and you wont find it open on a Wednesday lunchtime? No accommodation here either. It does have a pool table and darts in the bar which has been refurbished in the olde-worlde style. The lounge has now become a no smoking area!
