Set in the tranquil Herefordshire countryside, the Marshpools offers the chance to escape the hustle and bustle of the modern world. The Inn was originally an old thatched cottage, but has been completely rebuilt and now offers all the amenities one expects in this day and age. It is an area steeped in history, situated "off the beaten track" in a quiet location ideally based for touring the surrounding area. The bar, lounge and dining area are extremely spacious and there is a real log fire for those cold winter days. Real ale is served, along with a good selection of beers, wines, spirits and Herefordshire ciders. A varied menu is available lunchtimes and evenings, ranging from light snacks to a three course meal, all freshly prepared and very reasonably priced. Within the grounds are two well stocked fishing pools containing carp, tench, roach and bream. There is a large beer garden, ample parking and a pentanque piste for a little outdoor entertainment!
