Rose and Crown (Vicarage Lane, Ivinghoe, Buckinghamshire) (01296) 668472). This pub is situated in a quaint village and is popular with walkers. The Rose and Crown boasts lots of real ales including Adnams Broadside, Green King Rayments and Morrells Mild. There are two bars a lounge which is comfortable and a public bar on a different level. The pub is open for food at lunchtimes 12-2 and evenings 6-11. These are only bar meals but these are substantial and high quality nevertheless. Around the Rose and Crown are some very nice walks; a watermill, a windmill and plenty of open farmland. Alas there is no accommodation.
