If you really don't like beer of any sort (why are you in a pub) then there are fruit wines from Lindisfarne. The 'Boy' is also well up on music and has music on Thursdays and Folk on regular Sunday afternoons. The pub still resembles the old wine merchant it was 100 years ago. Items to note are the window display and the carved figurehead in the snug. If you really want to play pool, you can go upstairs to do so.
