GOOSE EYE.

Set in the hamlet of Goose Eye, this pub is also the brewery tap for the Turkey Brewery which can be viewed from inside the pub. It was the original home of the Goose Eye brewery before it got to big to stay here. As such it is well worth seeking out for a pint of some good beer as it can be hard to find the ales outside the local area. The pub is set in beautiful countryside and is a walkers delight. Beers on at the time were from the brewery and wall were very nice too. Food is served here both lunchtimes and evenings, though not on Monday's as its a real slow day. It is home cooked and well made, tasty too. There are occasional beer festivals here, usually in May over the bank holiday weekend. Seek out this pub, you wont be disappointed. Outside area for summer. No accommodation here.
