A good pub in the centre of Gillingham, it serves up to four real ales that rotate. All are well kept and served. They also serve up to 30 different Belgian beers in bottles. Recently redecorated, this pub is popular, especially during its two beer festivals a year. There is no food served here, which is a pity to be honest, as you don't want to leave to eat. Close to the railway station, it has good public transport access. A beer garden for summer is good.
Close to the railway station this is a pub where the Gillingham home supporters come to drink. Named after the famous Will Adams, local shipbuilder by trade who was also an adventurer. Food is only served at lunchtimes, but you can sit in the beer garden to eat if you wish. Beers available here are usually Fullers London Pride plus maybe two guest ales. Oddly enough they also stock Moles Black Rat cider. Worth a visit if you are in the town. No accommodation here.
