Royal Oak (Bristol Street Lane, Dunsford, Exeter, Devon, EX6 7DA) (01647) 252256. The Royal Oak is a quaint village pub with a pretty interior. But its best asset is the friendly atmosphere. The beer list constantly changes - look at www.troid.co.uk for up to date list. Food was of very high quality, and the portions were very large. Staff are all friendly locals employed from the surrounding villages. Prices were low considering the size of the meals. Orders are taken from 7pm until 9pm weekdays, 12-2pm at weekends. Worth a Diversion. Accommodation is available, but we don't have prices as yet. The Royal Oak is positioned right in the center of Dunsford. Turn up Briton Street Lane and the pub is right on the T-junction There is also music at the Royal Oak and possibly a quizz.
