Actually an Ansells pub this must be a miracle for them as the Fox serves up to three guest ales at a time. On at the time were Greene King Abotts Ale; Freeminer Stairway to Heaven and Bass (well you cant have everything). The Fox seems a very welcoming place though the road outside is very busy and the pub is on a blind bend. Plenty of parking and an outside drinking area away from the road for children and sunworshippers. Looking much like a house from the front, The Fox has hidden depths and two bars. The first - on the left as you enter - is a public bar and has a pool table and a fruit machine, though there is carpet.
