The Plough Inn is a traditional (believed to
be around 300 years old), family run freehouse, specialising in real ales -
beers on: Scattor Rock Cluster Bomb 4.8%; Scattor Rock Hound Tor 4.5%; Hopback Old Red Devil 4.7%; Hopback Crop Circle 4.5%; Butt's Barbus Barbus 4.9%; Cottage Stevenson 4.7%; Cottage Western Glory 4.8%.
It has been run by Licensee Jackie Armstrong, husband Steve and son Neil for over seven years. The Plough sells an ever-changing range of quality guest ales from local and national independent brewers.
Sunday night is pub quiz night, every Sunday
at 8.30pm, 60 questions, £1 per person, 50p per strip for raffle. All money to local charities.
There is a part flagstone floor to appreciate and a number of separate drinking
areas. The warm real fire keeps out the cold on the cold winter days/nights and
