Forge Hammer

(01594) 826662. Situated just off Valley Road, the Forge Hammer is thought to be the oldest pub still open in
Cinderford. It originally served the foundries and mines of the local area. A
friendly local on the outskirts of the town, the Forge Hammer features a central servery for bar
and lounge. Food is served
Tuesday till Sunday (12-7), Sunday lunches are popular. There is also a beer
garden patio outside with BBQ area. Well behaved children are welcome. Beers on
at the time were Courage Best, Badger Tanglefoot and a guest ale.
