CHARLBURY.
A pub that is open from 12-11pm everyday except Sunday, it also does live music and has a variety of sounds to listen to. The Rose & Crown is situated in the idyllic town of Charlbury which is only 15 minutes by train from Oxford. Charlbury is on the Oxfordshire Way and is very popular with walkers. It is also 7 miles from Blenheim Palace and Woodstock. Everybody is welcome in the one-roomed Rose & Crown. They don't serve food here, but you are welcome to bring your own into the courtyard area, or when the weathers not so kind into the pub. This is We are a true English pub in the centre of town and serves good guest ales (they are in the Good Beer Guide). Guest beers on at the time were Archers Village Bitter at ?1.48, Morrells Varsity at ?1.80 & Wychwood Old Devil at ?1.85. There was also another guest, but was in the process of being changed during the visit. No accommodation here.
