The Bishop Blaize is a 17th century free house situated in the sleepy hamlet of Burdrop, nestled in between Sibford Gower and Sibford Ferris 10 miles outside of Banbury. They serve real ales and good traditional home-cooked food to be enjoyed either inside or in the superb gardens. There are three distinct areas inside, a small inglenook bar with beamed ceiling, a public bar with traditional darts and jukebox plus a dining area. The food has an extensive menu - though check in winter - contains many home-cooked choices, though not a great choice for vegetarians. A real fire also warms in winter. Burdrop is an ideal location for touring the Cotswolds, some of England's most beautiful countryside.
