Sorrel Horse is a traditional country pub, serving an excellent selection of quality food.
The pub also has extensive car parking, a large garden, a childrens play area and now also
offers accommodation. The Sorrel Horse is a family run business. It consists of a 17th
Century building which first became an Inn in about 1840. It has a large garden, with
children's play facilities and an extensive car park. Set aside from the Inn is an eight
bedroom converted barn. It consists of single, twin, double and disabled rooms, most of
which are ensuite. All rooms are equipped with Sky TV and drink making facilities. The
downstairs are complete with the original beams and old fashioned styled rooms. While the
upstairs is more modern looking and furnished in pine. It is a traditional country Inn
serving good home cooked wholesome food. Bar Snacks start from £2.00 up to £4.95;
starters range from £1.85 to £2.95; main courses from £4.95 up to £11.95;
sweets from £1.45 up to £2.50; childrens menu £2.45 up to £2.95. It has
a strong connection with the local brewery in Ipswich, Tollemache and Cobbold. Serving
both Tolly Bitter and Cobbolds IPA along with the popular Burton Ale. The Inn itself is
set in nice quiet secluded area and is surrounded by lots of interesting historic
attractions. It is complete with original beams and an open fire place. Accommodatin
