ASHOVER.

The Old Poets' Corner is nestled in the peaceful village of Ashover, which is just off the main Chesterfield to Matlock road - between Kelstedge and Woolley Moor. There at least 6 Real Ales always available plus real ciders and fruit wines for those who don't like beer. Belgian bottled beers are also available. They have beer festivals here twice a year usually in late spring/early summer and October.  Home cooked food is available here (Mon-Sat 12-2, 5.30-9, Sun 12-4). Choices a re on the traditional side and there is a selection for vegetarians. For the summer there is a sun terrace and outdoor seating area.
