AMBLECOTE.

A free house not far from Stourbridge and Wollaston that used to be part of the larger pub chains. It now serves real ale rather than plastic beer. Not too much to look at, it fronts onto a busy road and so is not easy to park, but the 311 bus goes this way. The pub has a friendly atmosphere and is part of the community. It's darts teams are well represented. It has a rather basic - public - bar on one side that caters for those that come in work clothes to sup ale before going home or at lunchtime. On the other is a more comfortable lounge that has a more traditional style and seating. It has a beer garden for the summer. Alas no food is served here and there is no accommodation, but if you are in the area, it is well worth a stop off.
