A friendly, family-run Hotel situated in one of Fife's picturesque coastal
villages, a stones throw from Edinburgh. The Hotel has been owned and operated for the last 10 years by Russell Kelly David Thomson.
They specialise in traditional cooking and real ales and have appeared in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide 2001. Although
the buildings date back to the 17th century, the hotel is very modern inside
with 16 refurbished bedrooms. The well-stocked bar has several real ales and, of course, a large selection of malt whiskies from Scotland's many distilleries. A coal fire in the
winter warms the cockles of the heart and always a warm welcome from the friendly staff and
locals. The food is of course tip top and ranges from Ramekin of haggis, neeps & tatties glazed with cheese
- £3.95 to Poached Darne of salmon - £7.95. Access to the hotel is easy by
road or rail. The Aberdour is located in the High Street opposite the Post
Office and the railway station is a minute walk away. There is accommodation
here single from £35,
double from £50,
family from £50.
