Additional Notes: I have just returned from the Lake District and was lucky to find a brilliant pub called The Travellers Joy in Glenridding nr Ullswater. The hand pulled beers were clear, tasty and a good temperature. The food was the best pub food I've ever eaten. Large portions, cheap, and a good selection. The pub itself is small, but clean and with friendly staff. It would be my local if I didn't live nr Portsmouth. Treat yourself and visit the travellers soon. (Dave Gardiner)
