The Green Man
The Green Man in The Tything, Worcester has been transformed into a Bar and Restaurant of excellence for fine food, drink and congenial hospitality.
The food experience is one of a full menu both evenings and lunchtimes with tried and tested favourites such as beef and Guinness pie and more adventurous items including fillet steak with tiger king prawns in a sweet Jack Daniels and chilli sauce. Food is served from 10.00 am to Late Evening.
The real ales on offer have been recognised by CAMRA and the Green Man, which enjoys a position in Worcester 's history is now synonymous with excellence in entertainment, food and drink.
Live music is also a feature of the Green Man's offerings with acoustic evenings.
The prominent theme is that of the Green Man of mythology and icons, imagery and references from all over the world adorn the walls whilst the acorn adorned chandeliers are truly unique.
Because it is a Grade II listed building all alterations are sympathetic to the character of the original structure. The interior fixtures and fittings complement the building which dates back to the 15 th century.
