Fagins Bar  

Opened on the 8th March 1998 from the former Beer Dragon and the Cross Inn. There are usually up to 3 guest ales available, occasional promotions on a variety of other drinks, over 15 Whiskies available, and an extensive wine list. The Bar gets especially busy between Thursday and Sunday, with the Church Village branch of the South Wales Slappers and Slapheads Club holding their meetings on the weekends (don't ask). There's live entertainment on Sundays and Thursdays, a Quiz on Monday night, with Jeff providing his own brand of "entertainment" on most other nights. The restaurant is decorated in a Dickensian Library style and seats up to 50 per sitting. The à la carte menu is prepared with the best of fresh local produce, although what passes for 'local produce' in Church Village, I'm not sure.

Bar meals are available at restaurant opening times (12:00 - 2:00 pm, 7:00 - 10:00 pm Monday to Saturday, 12:00 - 2:00 pm Sunday), see the chalkboards for the current menu. Be aware that there is a dress code in operation at all times: no blue denims or trainers between Thursday and Sunday, smart casual at all other times. Full disabled access and facilities. No accommodation here.
