The Chequers  

The Chequers is a traditional, community orientated pub offering unpretentious homemade food. It is a relaxed and cosy pub, located between Pampisford and Sawston away from the hustle and bustle of Cambridge city centre.

Seating is traditional at dark wood tables and chairs with wall bench seating.

They serve four ales, the two regulars - Woodforde’s Wherry and Greene King IPA, as well as two guest usually updated on a monthly basis.

Food is served here Monday to Saturday 12-9, Sunday 12–2.30. They update the menu regularly.

Children and dogs are welcome if they are well behaved.

For the summer there is outside seating.
