The Lord Roberts

This is the brewery tap for the Flipside Brewery. It usually has up to five of their ales on plus five other guest ales.

A traditional pub on the inside, it has a theatre theme with playbills and performance posters on the walls.

The long 'L' shape bar has an array of pumps and taps on it.

You can enter the pub from two sides, both of which will take you to seating, though the pub is in effect a single-room due to the way the internal walls have been opened-up. The seating is in nooks and crannies and can be both open and intimate. A real fire warms in winter.

You will find real cider and bottled continental beers here. A good selection of both.

Food is served here 12-8 and is traditional - the is a Punch Tavern.

For the summer there is a patio.

Dogs welcome.

Access for the disabled is possible, though facilities not designed specifically.

The exterior is Grade II listed, though you would not think so from looking at it as it has a 1920s feel.

Closest tram - 'Lace Market'.
