The Olde England  

A real freehouse, this Victorian looking pub covers three floors.

It serves up to five real ales with special attention given to local breweries. Plus it serves real cider. No lager served here.

One of the bars is a cellar bar with the usual gloom lighting of this type of space. A curved staircase leads up to the ground floor which is more traditional. While you can get served on the top floor, the hatch is quite small. Most beers tend to be served on gravity in places you can see them. Sturdy wooden tables and chairs are prevalent throughout.

Food is served all day Tuesday to Sunday.

Live music Tuesday and Thursday.

Quiz night is Wednesday.

For the winter there is a real fire.
