The Barnes Wallis Inn

The pub is named after the 20th century inventor Barnes Wallis, notable for inventing the bouncing bomb used in the Dambusters Raid in WW2. Naturally they have a lot of Barnes Wallis and Dambusters memorabilia adhering on the walls.

They serve up to four real ales which are ever changing real ales, with normally one stout or mild. They also have a selection of bottled European beers and Hoegaarden on tap.

This is a gastro pub serving fresh food with locally produced ingredients. Food is served Tuesday-Friday 5–9pm, Saturday 12-9pm, Sunday 12-8pm and Bank Holiday Mondays 12-8pm.

The inside has a modern look to it with a some nooks and crannies to sit in.

There is a large beer garden for summer.

Quiz nights.

Regular beer festivals.

Worth a stop.
