Dog Inn  

Just round the corner from the Gate Inn, this well-hidden black and white rural pub has a country inn feel to it.

Inside it has an elaborate carved frontage to the bar and lots of wood panelling around the walls. The walls are covered with brass and country life pictures.

There are log fires for winter and a beer garden for summer. Note the aviary outside.

There are two intimate dining rooms to the side of the pub giving it a home feel.

They serve up to four guest beers from local to far and wide and now have their own brewery.

Food is served here Monday to Saturday 12-2, 6-9pm and Sunday 12-5pm; complimentary bar nibbles Sunday lunch.

Families are welcome here and there is plenty of parking. Dogs welcome too. Sports TV available.
