Food is served Tue-Sat 12-2pm; Sun 12.30-2.30pm & 7-9pm . Senior citizens' get a special deal - 20% off all menu items from Tuesdays to Thursday lunchtimes. The regularly changing guest ale is is a welcome addition to the regular beers. There are two comfortable bars, one of which is non-smoking. A traditional pub with stiils and benches and barrel tables in places.
