The Ailsa Tavern  

The Ailsa Tavern is a traditional community pub (T&J Bernard) set in the beautiful suburb of St Margarets. The Ailsa is a great venue for a night out with friends or family in St Margarets.

First opened in 1861, it still keeps many original features. It has a large public garden and is run as a community pub should be - welcoming, warm, friendly and family-oriented - a place where anyone can come to enjoy a day or evening.

Children are more than welcome during the day or early evening, and can play in the Wendy house or with a selection of children's games. They also keep a selection of games for adults behind the bar or you can enjoy a game of darts.

They serve food here - lunch 12-9pm Monday to Saturday, Sunday 12-6pm.

There is free wifi for customers.

There are regular events here too including music and parties.

No accommodation here.
