Spanish Galleon

This is a Shepherd Neame pub on the corner of the same street as the Admiral Hardy.

A more traditional pub layout with a long bar that trails through the three rooms. A traditional dark carpet in places and dark wood furniture as both round and square tables, chairs and stools. Two areas are for seating and there is a TV in one room for sport.

The middle space is where the food counter is and you can see your food in a chiller for salads, etc. Food is served both lunch and evening and is reasonably priced and looks home made. Large chalk boards set out what is available. There are even a good few vegetarian choices available. There is a tiled conservatory for non smokers which also gives you a bit of sunlight in the summer. Access for the disabled is good and there is a toilet available.

Toilets for the non-disabled are cramped and require corridor negotiation.

The beers on are all from the Sheps range and are well kept and served, though the Australians staff are not familiar with sparkler removal.

No accommodation here, though close to the tube - Cutty Sark stop and the ship is within sight of the pub.
