The Ship Tavern  

The pub is hard to find as it is hidden in a passage behind Holborn Underground station.

The pub is one of William Younger's houses.

The outside has leaded windows and a brass plaque. Inside there is a mix of nooks and crannies with low decorative ceilings. Upstairs is a posh room set out with padded chairs and velvet with low lighting. All the walls are wood panelled.

They serve four regular beers from regionals and two guest ales.

Food is available all day; and is traditional with regular pie promotions. A Sunday roast is served with live jazz late Sunday afternoons.

Disabled access is possible, but not to toilet.
