The Royal Oak

The Oak is close Borough tube station and about 10 minutes from London Bridge.

It's on a quiet street corner local. You enter through the double doors and the pub is divided into two halves, separated by the middle bar. Both rooms are small and intimate, though there can be too many people in there with the way the tables are close together. There is dark wood panelling, and if you look up there are chandeliers. On the walls are photos.

The beers on are Harveys, usually with three of them on. Prices are London, so expect the £3 plus pint. They also serve cider.

Food is served here and is traditional pub food at London prices. They have a specials board too.
