The Brew Wharf

The restaurant & bar with its own brewery. Brew Wharf is located under three massive railway arches, giving it space hard to find in London restaurants. It has an outside terrace which could be enjoyed during warmer days, though we saw it in hard rain and everyone moved inside.

The Brew Wharf is under the Victorian arches by the Thames at Bankside, Southwark, though London Bridge is your nearest station.

It's not far from the Globe where Shakespeare and Marlowe did their thing.

Beers tend to be from the Meantime range, though they could do with a little less fizz. Bit of a soulless place to be honest and the noise can get cacophonous when busy. Staff don't seem to speak English, which can be a hindrance.

food OK, though not much for vegetarians. It's served Monday to Saturday 12 till 4pm and 6 till 10pm if you want a full menu. Lite bites are served 4 till 6pm. On Sunday and Bank Holidays you get the full menu 12 til 4pm.
