Olde Cherry Tree

An imposing inn dating from the 16th century, popular with people going to and from the port of Harwich, though it is still in a rural setting. Originally owned by the Cobbold family who moved to Ipswich to brew. The Tree has been a past winner of CAMRA regional pub of the year. The beers on tap are always Adnams and London Pride, but there are up to three ever changing guest ales. Food is served here both lunch and evening and is top quality home cooked food. Choices a re traditional for a pub, but are wholesome and well presented. Every June there is a beer festival in the garden which is large and presents a welcome view of the countryside for the summer months.
