The Cherry Tree  

The Cherry Tree pub is located off the Kettering Road in Little Bowden. It is the only remaining pub in the town with a thatched roof.

The Cherry Tree is popular with not only the locals but is well frequented by visitors from around the globe. With its low beamed ceilings, white painted walls, thatched roof and dating back to the 1700s The Cherry Tree epitomises what one perceives as the traditional English country pub. Its well stocked Everards cellar along with a comprehensive food menu makes the Cherry Tree a popular watering hole for both locals and visitors alike.

With plenty of car parking available and two beer gardens with children's play area makes this pub a place where families can spent a pleasant afternoon together.

You can enjoy the home made pub food at the following times: 12-2pm Monday to Saturday, 7-9.30pm Thursday to Saturday, Sunday 12-3.30pm. There is waitress service in the evenings and on Sunday.

The Cherry Tree also boasts a skittle table, dart board and various sporting events on a large screen TV. They also hold a pub quiz on a Monday evening at 8.30pm for 9pm start, which usually generates more than twenty teams.

If you are planning an event of you own then it may be worth knowing that they also have a marquee which you can hire for functions such as parties, wedding receptions and christenings.
