The Longstop  

THIS PUB HAS CLOSED DUE TO HIGH RENT INCREASES.

A family run pub serving up to six real ales with Bass & Blue Monkey Original as standards, the other four rotate regularly.

They serve food here Monday to Saturday 12-5pm plus Sunday Roast. The selection is traditional but wholesome and filling.

There are regular live music & DJ nights.

Children are welcome until 9pm but must be supervised.

Inside, the bar is opposite to the right of the entrance and there are three areas to sit; a sofa area by the window, a pew area towards the back and a more conventional eating area to the right. Flooring tends to be wood.

They are near the clock tower down Churchgate opposite the side entrance to The High Cross Shopping centre.
