The Blue Boar  

The Blue Boar is a brand new ale house in the centre of Leicester.

It is a single room bar, more akin to a micropub, the bar is opposite as you enter. The ales are kept at the back of the room behind glass, there is no cellar downstairs.

It serves up to eight ales alongside traditional cider. They use a We use a double tap system so you can have your beer from a hand pull or straight from the cask; though you need to ask. They also use lined glasses so you get a full pint plus a head.

There is no food here, though they do have some crusty cobs on the bar, pork pies and a cheese board, all day every day.

Children welcome until 7pm and dogs always.

WiFi available.

Note the gents toilets and read the name on the barrels.
