The Tollgate  

This pub is a Grade II former Georgian farmhouse. It dates back to 1720 and has been sympathetically restored with a mix of old and new. It has large inglenook fireplaces in both the bar and lounge that warm the cockles in winter.

They serve a couple of real ales as this is mainly a food/B&B led pub. The food can be eaten in both the restaurant and bar and lounge. Lunch is available everyday from 12-2pm (exc Monday). On Sundays there is a traditional lunch menu. Evening meals are available Tuesday to Thursday (last table 9pm). Friday/Saturday (last table 9.30pm).

For the summer there is a beer garden which doubles as an al-fresco dining area.
