Bank Tavern

A town pub opposite the post office with an 'L' shaped room. Low beams predominate, though not throughout. Seating is church 'pews' with wooden tables and chairs on dark patterned carpet. There are ramps to dartboard and toilets, but toilets are not suitable for the disabled.

On the right of the room there is an old-fashioned computer game machine that doubles as a table (the games was a levels and ladders one - basic). There is a fireplace but it has a fake wood effect electric one in it.

The bar is to the left of the entrance, wooden with overhang. Beers on at the time were all Jennings, Bitter, Snecklifter, Cocker Hoop and Cumberland. Also on was the hard to find Dark Mild.

Food (served lunch and evenings) is traditional pub grub, burgers, beans and chips, though there were 4 (four) vegetarian choices.

Friendly distinguished landlord. They also have a children's room.
