The Swan Inn  

The tastefully extended 17th-century village inn has 10 en suite bedrooms, and is located in an area of outstanding natural beauty on the North Wessex Downs.

The Swan is owned by local organic beef farmers Mary and Bernard Harris. The menus for the hotel restaurant and bar food feature organic produce as well as beef from the farm.

Beers are usually Butts traditional, Butts Jester Bitter, Maggs Magnificent Mild and a guest beer.

Food is served here 12-2pm and 7-9.30 pm Monday to Saturday and 12-2.30pm and 7-9pm Sunday. There is a vegetarian option.

Well behaved children are welcome. There are two open fires, old beams and a darts room. Alternate Thursdays are Quiz or Darts nights.

A garden and terraces offer outdoor seating.
