Three Pigeons  

This is a heritage pub, and once you step over the threshold you can see why. From the outside this 1931 building is just another pub, but you get the full effect once inside.

Here you will see the Art Deco floors and walls. There is also a highly decorative ceiling which was done in 1981. The terrazzo lobby floor is a dream against the dark wood. Three rooms radiate off this lobby bar.

Taken over in 2005 by the Ossett Brewery, it obviously serves four of its ales, but also has up to four guest ales as well.

Although no food is served here, the pub is well worth seeking out as one of the best pubs in Halifax.
