The Halford Bridge

This coaching inn has a friendly atmosphere and charm. It sits on the Fosse Way , a Roman road linking Exeter to Lincoln. The village is not large and so it relaxing, but is not far from the motorway or Warwick or Stratford.

Steeped in history and located on the fringes of The Cotswolds, The Halford Bridge is an impressive, stone built, grade II listed coaching inn, dating from 1567 and oozing with character.

The owners have taken great care in transforming The Halford Bridge into the type of place most would enjoy visiting. Whilst it retains original character features, they have used quirky 'furniture finds' to create an individual style and real relaxed atmosphere.

You can unwind in the welcoming bar with a beer or two, though there is an extensive wine menu.

The food served here is good, though not a great choice for vegetarians.

There is accommodation here in 12 individually styled en-suite bedrooms, including a ground floor converted stable bedroom.
