The Strickland Arms

The Strickland Arms is a pub of character and distinction at the heart of the village. It has a secluded rear garden and a dry-stone walled terraced front with an abundant display of flowers.

Inside is warm and inviting and very much put you in the village mindset with its nooks and crannies.

They serve beers from the Marstons range, and all were tasty.

They serve food here too, made from local produce. All food is freshly prepared to order. They serve early evenings meals at around £5, 5-6.30pm, Monday to Friday. Sunday roast 12-9pm.

Well worth a trip and not far from the motorway.
