Cat Inn

The Cat is a real country estate pub (hence closed on Sunday) west of Birmingham and Stourbridge on the A458. It's an excellent place to stop for a pint and a bite to eat (though be careful as it has some curious closing times).

The pub is hard to miss and is on the left as you pass through Enville (depending on which way of course). The building dates back to the 16th and 17th centuries and there's plenty of space inside with 4 oak beamed rooms with real fires to warm the low ceiling rooms easily in winter.

Food is served lunch and evening when open and there are some interesting specials on the board.

You can usually find a beer or two from the local Enville brewery from the farm up the road. There will also usually be a couple of other guest ales on too. For the summer there is a beer garden and large car park.

You can walk around the village or view the estate church maybe.

No accommodation here and there is very little close at hand.
