The Old Cock Inn

The Old Cock Inn has a long history as it was first licensed for the sale of alcohol in the reign of Queen Anne in 1712.

The bar is situated through the entrance of the pub and is one of the oldest parts of the building, filled with character, charm and atmosphere. They serve up to four real ales.

The pub has small snug areas situated around the different rooms.

For the winter there is an open fire in the front bar, lit between November and March. For the summer there is an outdoor seating area.

There are regular live events here. A meeting area can be booked.

Food is served here sourced where possible from local suppliers and freshly prepared to order. It is served Tuesday 12-3pm, 6-8.45pm, Wednesday-Saturday 12-3pm, 6-8.45pm, Sunday 12-2.45pm.

We also welcome dogs into the pub, in the front two bar areas only.

Discount for CAMRA members.
