The Gardeners Arms  

This is a family run pub a short walk from the High Street, that serves a good selection of real ales and also serves good food. It is a 15th Century (1614) building and has a lot of character.

Each month there are four guest ales at a discount price, the middle of every month they have a real ale weekend festival celebrating English cask ales from around the UK.

Food is served here using local ingredients both lunch and evening throughout the week. There are plenty of specials nights, look at the website and marvel.

For the summer they have a beer garden featuring old pub games. Look out for the wishing well.

There is also a children's play area.

A good sized car park is available.
