Rose & Crown Hotel  

The Rose and Crown hotel, which dates back to the 14th century, is a beautiful oak timber framed building situated in the bustling, historic town of Colchester.

Lovingly restored over the years the hotel is an ideal base. It has a real fire in the Tudor bar.

Located close to Colchester town centreThe Rose and Crown hotel offers two award winning dining venues. The elegant Oak Room restaurant is the hotel’s main restaurant and the 14th century Tudor brassiere in the pub itself. They also cater for private parties.

Real ales are limited to two, but are well kept.
