The Lugger Inn  

Ideally situated at the heart of Dorset's world Heritage Jurassic coastline, in Chickerell near Weymouth. The Lugger Inn is a traditional village pub with locals bar, restaurant, function room / skittle alley, beer garden, bed and breakfast and holiday cottages. The bar houses five hand pumps serving local and guest real ales and cider, a full range of lagers, sprits and comprehensive wine list from around the world. The pub is themed in a traditional style, with many artifacts and pictures of local fishing scenes. The pub is open from 8.00am with food served all day starting with breakfast, morning coffees, lunches, afternoon teas and bar meals served all day till 9.30 pm. Live music from local perfromers is a regular feature in the bar . The bar also has a traditional dart board, and TV showing most sports. The separate non smoking dining room is open from 12 noon till 2.30pm and again from 6.00pm till 9.30pm throughout the year, serving a variety of seasonal fresh fish, meats, poultry and game together with freshly prepared vegetables and salads. Bookings are advisable as the restaurant is often busy.
