The Mitre

Known to be the oldest pub in Buckingham.

The Mitre is a 'proper' local with dark wood panels, a real fire and up to five real ale served directly from the cellar. The beers come from local brewers such as Towcester Mill, Tring, as well as Marstons. They always try to have an Oakham ale on.

The pub is very comfortable and friendly, and has real fire for the winter.

There is a dart board, with active teams. For everyone else there are board games or a good book from their lending shelf.

For the summer there is a large garden and patio smoking area.

Pets are welcome here.

Children welcome.
