The Jug and Bottle  

The Jug and Bottle is a shop/off licensee with a twist, in that is is mainly a 'cider house'. It has up to 16 ciders and perry's on draught at any one time, plus one ale though sometimes two.

The shop sells real ale and cider to take away in jugs and has a vast array of bottled beer, cider & Perry from around the world as well as over 300 wines, champagnes, ports and spirits.

The shop offers a warm and friendly service to all and even has its own website, although you can only browse as it does not do mail order yet.

It's located in a rural village called Bubwith, 12 miles south-east of York and opened in 2002.

If it is food you are after, they do a lot of that too in the deli part of the shop.
