The Railway Arms  

The Railwayman's Arms is one of the best pubs in Bridgnorth and it is right on the platform of the station, so is very handy for getting to and from Kidderminster.

Inside there is a mixture of railway memorabilia and the pub is split level with the bar at the bottom of a couple of steps.

Always busy at weekends as visitors to the museum and sheds use the pub as a watering hole.

They serve a large selection of ales including Bathams Best and usually one from Hobsons. The rest are guest ales that change regularly. They also try to have real cider and continental draught beer on.

Snacks are served here though check for times as it is not a huge pub and gets very busy, especially in the summer.

Live music here occasionally. They also hold a regular beer festival here in August.

Children are welcome in the beer garden.

There is a real fire here for winter. Car park is the station's pay and display.

Well worth a trip.
